The party said it supports the continuation of Tinubu’s administration to ensure the completion of major infrastructure projects, including the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and the Sokoto-Badagry Highway. Discussions also focused on the upcoming Osun governorship election, with party leaders calling for a peaceful and credible poll. They warned against violence, voter intimidation, electoral manipulation and the misuse of security agencies during the election.
The meeting was attended by Accord Party National Chairman Maxwell Mgbudem, other members of the party’s national executive, and state chairmen from across the country, who reaffirmed the party’s commitment to democratic processes.
